Problem Note 50435: Interactive Grouping and Interactive Binning interactive changes are not applied to Test data
In SAS® Enterprise Miner™, the Interactive Binning node, and the Interactive Grouping node, enable you to interactively change the groups. If either node is preceded by a Data Partition node that creates a Test data source, then the interactive changes should be applied to the Test data. However, the interactive changes are not applied. The resulting group-values are not correct.
The problem occurs only for changes that are made interactively. Groups that the node forms automatically are created in the Test data.
There are no errors or warnings to indicate a problem.
To work around the problem, perform these steps.
- Perform and save the desired interactive changes in the Interactive Binning or
Interactive Grouping node.
- Change the Use Frozen Groupings property to Yes.
- Force the node to re-run. To force it to re-run, go to the node at the beginning of the
flow (usually an Input Data, File Import, or SAS Code node). In the first node in the flow,
set the Rerun property to Yes. Right-click the Interactive Binning or
Interactive Grouping node, and select Run.
